Halcyon.eco is an AI-assisted platform empowering professionals in the energy transition space to make smarter, faster decisions. Our goal for the website was to create a dynamic, custom experience that mirrors the innovative energy of the company. Built within the constraints of HubSpot CMS, we overcame limitations to deliver a visually engaging and highly functional site.
The project involved crafting two custom themes and templates, allowing the site to balance its technical CRM capabilities with the sleek, AI-powered design the brand embodies. From seamless animations to an integrated blog, every element reflects Halcyon’s mission to accelerate better decision-making in the energy sector.
CMS Limitations: HubSpot's CMS presented significant challenges due to its limited customization options and rigid structure.
Design Iterations: The design phase required multiple adjustments to align the creative vision with the technical possibilities.
Collaborative Design Process: Worked hand-in-hand with designers, offering technical insights to shape a visually appealing and functional user experience.
Dynamic and Interactive Animations: Implemented tailored animations that convey the AI-driven essence of the brand while maintaining smooth performance.
Built with a separate custom theme, the blog seamlessly integrates into the site while maintaining its own distinct aesthetic. Each post is designed to be visually captivating, ensuring readers are drawn into the content as they explore insights on energy transition and innovation.
Dynamic Animations: Reflect the cutting-edge AI technology the company represents.
Integrated Blog: A seamlessly functioning blog with its own unique but cohesive theme.
Fully Responsive Design: Optimized for users across all devices, ensuring accessibility and usability.
Efficient Collaboration: Partnered closely with the design team to bring the client’s vision to life.
Three-Month Turnaround: Delivered the project on time, overcoming design and technical challenges.
FoundationHQ’s website redefined their online presence, combining simplicity with strength. As part of their rebranding effort, I rebuilt their site in Webflow, transferring it seamlessly from their previous platform. The project resulted in a modern, two-page website that’s intuitive, flexible, and designed for scalability. Built in just one week, it showcases FoundationHQ’s mission to deliver compelling media stories while reflecting their refreshed brand identity.
The project involved key challenges that required careful attention:
Platform Transition: Migrating FoundationHQ’s website to Webflow while preserving functionality and content integrity.
Design Collaboration: Adapting a design created by the talented team at KEI, ensuring all adjustments were respectful of their creative vision.
Time Sensitivity: Delivering a polished, user-friendly site in just a week
To bring the design to life, I worked closely with FoundationHQ and their design partners. While the visual design originated from the experts at KEI, my role focused on implementing and refining it in Webflow, ensuring the site was functional, responsive, and scalable.
A Website Built for Growth
Seamless Platform Transition: Successfully migrated from the old platform to Webflow with no disruption to content or functionality.
Scalable Framework: Created a modular, flexible system that supports future updates and expansions.
Efficient Turnaround: Delivered a professional and polished site within a one-week deadline.
Collaborative Success: Worked closely with the client and designers to ensure the final product aligned with their vision and needs.
I’m a 23-year-old web developer from Midtown Sacramento, passionate about building websites that merge functionality and design. My journey into tech started with a fascination for how everyday tools work, and it led me to earn a degree in Computer Science from Sacramento State. Now, I’m putting that knowledge into action, creating digital experiences that are as functional as they are as visually pleasing.
I enjoy building people's visions as dynamic websites. I have built a few websites following and working with the designers over at KEI while maintaining a connection with the talented team over at Halcyon. While front-end development is my specialty, I also have experience with backend development and understand how to build complete, functional web applications.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me outside. I love mountain and gravel biking, overlanding, and camping—any adventure that gets me into nature. Sports have always been a part of my life, and I’m an avid fan of the NFL, NBA, and Rugby.
Rugby has been a defining part of my life for over 12 years, shaping my values and teaching me leadership, teamwork, and perseverance. As Captain and Treasurer of the Sac State Rugby Club, I led our team to win the 2023 D1AA National Championship—a moment that stands as a highlight of my career.
Off the field, I took on organizational responsibilities that went beyond the game. I led the $30,000+ fundraising effort to cover our championship trip to Houston, Texas, managing travel logistics and bookings for over 40 people. I served as the main point of contact for parents and coordinated with school officials and Jostens to design and order our championship rings. Additionally, I handled team branding, revisiting and updating gear designs twice a year while managing the distribution of 100+ items per order.
Rugby has instilled in me a drive to lead, adapt, and take initiative—qualities I bring to every aspect of my life and career.
At Kei Inc., I developed a site that communicates the company’s vision through dynamic interactions and seamless user experiences. My approach is all about delivering clean, efficient work that gets the job done right. We decided for this site to stay away from working with a CMS and built it the old fashion way - Straight HTML, CSS, and JS.
The homepage is designed to cut through the fluff. In an age where AI often generates rambling, generic content, we chose to say more with less. Its created to compare the difference and just state what the company does in a simpler way. It’s built to engage and inform without unnecessary complexity.
The "Who" and "How" pages dive deeper into Kei Inc.’s identity and methodology. These sections feature smooth scroll-based animations that create a sense of flow as users move through the content. I developed these animations with a focus on responsiveness and performance, ensuring they look great and work well on any device.
The case studies section was the most demanding part of the project, with a significant amount of content to organize and display. This section highlights Kei work in a way that’s both functional and visually appealing.
This project has been my favorite to work on; the freedom of not being restrained to CMS was a breath of fresh air. I love the both the expereince and visual appeal of the entire Kei.inc. Its an easy to use and dynamic site, then becomes static when more information gets introduced in the case study section.
I've been working at SMUD for just over 3 years, working as an IT Technician on the End User Experience team. We focus on providing "white glove" tier 2 IT support. We are a dynamic team that wears many hats. During this role I have gotten to grow not only my troubleshooting skills but also has allowed me to work with all the C-level executives and board members on a daily basis. Along with executive support, I have gained experience working in conference rooms, running A/V for board meetings, written and led workshops, and working as a ServiceNow admin.
While working with executives, I have navigated high-pressure situations where staying calm, collected, and confident is crucial. I’ve built strong, comfortable relationships with them, earning their trust through consistent performance. I often sit through executive meetings, honing the ability to let information pass through—going in one ear and out the other—when needed.
While working as an IT Tech, I got my ServiceNow Admin Certification. With it I have started working on developing ServiceNow forms and workflows as needed by my team. I have now revamped the process for our Conference Room Concierge service, and am in the process of creating a uniformed process for booking controlled conference rooms. I have the workflow mapped out and am spearheading the development of creating 3 new service desk teams, a new workflow, new CMDB, and a form that covers the info needed by 3 different groups depending on what they need.
One aspect of my role is troubleshooting, supporting, and educating the workforce regarding our Teams Conference rooms. I have worked through executive meetings troubleshooting issues when room technology fails in high stress situations.
